Astra Village

Astra Village will consist of up to 1.9 million square feet of office space, a 150-room hotel, 1100 housing units, 92,000 square feet of shops and a 16-acre park on 150 acres along Highway 610 in Brooklyn Park. The master plan will provide opportunities to live, work and play in an environment more urban than suburban in density, height, parking and walkability. There will be open space features that focus and unite the land uses and create identity. Landscaping will be generous, and attention will be paid to the details of lighting, signage, materials and fixtures.

A creative solution was found for the grading and drainage plan that will raise the site but minimize the cost of fill while creating an attractive park element that cleanses and filters the runoff and protects the groundwater.
