Grand Casino Relocation

The relocation of Pine County Road 15 was required to make way for the casino expansion. The project consisted of the construction of 3,500 linear feet of two-lane section with turn lanes and bypass lanes for the casino entrances and a new intersection with MN State Highway 48. The project also included wetland mitigation and

right-of-way vacation and dedication.

MFRA provided the following services:

• Boundary and topographic survey
• Preliminary and final site design including plan and profile, grading, storm drainage, and striping
• Stormwater management system design
• Wetlands impact mitigation and permitting
• Construction administration and construction staking
