The Crossings at Rush Creek
The Crossings at Rush Creek provided three varieties of single-family detached housing plus twin homes and apartments for senior citizens. Twenty percent of the Crossings was devoted to public open space in form of park, floodplain and wetlands. There are 464 housing units on the 220 acre site.
An important element of the design was an interconnected green system consisting of a neighborhood park, linear open space with public access and a path along Rush Creek, and two parkway streets. Each local street has sidewalks on both sides
A high level of consistency with the Maple Grove Comprehensive Plan helped achieve municipal approval.
