Landscape Architecture

Landscape architects and urban designers at McCombs Frank Roos have experience in the design of parks, park systems and trails for both cities and private developers. This work includes comprehensive system planning, site schematics, plantings and site furnishings, and construction drawings.

We have often designed neighborhood parks and trails as part of residential or multiple-use neighborhoods to both promote sales and achieve public quality of life objectives. Our designs have integrated active play spaces with other public open space such as wetlands, creek corridors and riparian buffers to maximize the benefits of both. These features help form neighborhood identity and also provide lasting value to residents and the broader community.

Parks, trails and park systems have also been planned by MFRA for cities or counties either as individual projects or as elements of comprehensive plans.
