City of Mound Engineering Services

The City of Mound is a historic resort community on Lake Minnetonka that has grown into a dynamic suburban community. In 1973, MFRA became the City's engineering firm and has undertaken numerous projects since then. MFRA has helped the City acquire Municipal State Aid funding for street reconstruction projects and federal funding for the Lost Lake Canal Project. In the late 1990's, MFRA helped the City prepare its storm water management plan, resulting in transfer of the permitting authority from the Watershed District to the City. MFRA also helped restore the Lost Lake Canal to its original use as a waterway and assisted with several downtown renewal projects.
